UNFORTUNATELY the link will only open to your home page if you are signed in. I think you might get a better result if you were signed out, or a mere visitor. A glitch that may be a server problem here, or one with Google. If it is a Google glitch, they are turning into Microsoft.
Speaking of which; it is never too late to try an alternative operating system. With download speeds and the great connections we have these days there is no excuse for ignoring Linux.
I wish I had a work-around for Google.
