Long time no see

I only came here to check up on some long lost graphic and realise how lax I have been ignoring people on here. My apologies to all.

Hope to see you soon.

Now where did I put that damned picture?

  1. yes hi
only 22 , I have heard at the end of myopera than they had saved( with waybackmachine) many many pages of blogs , but i have not seen many ( before october 2013 )

  2. Many of us saved the blogs but I don’t remember if I got the pictures. Also I am less than impressed with Vivaldi. It was grossly over-subscibed for a while and ran like stuck stickies on my cable ISP. Must have been hell on wheels for anyone with a slow connection.

I will try it again soon a bit busy now though.

  3. I have AT&T U-verse, which is supposed to be faster than local (TW) cable here. No, Vivaldi is not “silk”. On the activity feed anyway, too much external content.

    Hi Sgunhouse. How are you?
Are you a Mod here yet?

I haven’t really written a long blog on here in ages. I think I will compose the next on in Libre Office and post from there. I don’t understand what you were referring to about “external content”. Or am I just not seeing whatver because I have Linux and a load of ad-blocking stuff. I can’t see why the owner doesn’t go in for some advertising. Most of us know how to deal with intrusive stuff. How is he making ends meet with this?

  5. Probably won’t be a mod here – busy enough on Opera’s new forums (such as they are).

Not certain they still do it, but when people posted links to things it tries to include some sort of a preview.

  6. I think thqat the US deep stae screwed Opera. Bloody shame!
Maybe they were also the people responsible for problems on here. Vivaldy is running the way Opera used to in the good old days.
    Like silk.

I am quite impressed with it.
